Dr. Chandanna Mannedi is a Physiotherapist, Balanced Body® Educator, and Founder of Flex Pilates, with over two decades of experience in movement-based rehabilitation, Pilates, and holistic pain management. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Physiotherapy from Durgabai Deshmukh Hospital & Research Centre, Hyderabad, and a Master’s degree in Orthopaedic, Manual, and Sports Physiotherapy from Australia.
Introduced to Pilates during her postgraduate studies, Chandanna found in it a system that seamlessly bridged clinical reasoning with intelligent movement. She went on to pursue extensive advanced training, including DMA Clinical Pilates (Australia), STOTT Pilates® Mat & Reformer (Canada), CranioSacral Therapy (Upledger, USA), Visceral Manipulation (Barral Institute, USA), and Selective Functional Movement Assessment (FMS).
After working in orthopaedic and sports rehabilitation settings, she founded Flex Pilates in 2014, developing a distinctive Pilates-based Physiotherapy approach that integrates movement therapy, manual techniques, and somatic awareness. Her work focuses on understanding muscle function, movement patterns, and biomechanical imbalances, and how these contribute to pain and dysfunction.
Dr. Chandanna works with a wide spectrum of clients — from athletes to individuals with chronic and complex pain — and is known for her ability to trace pain to its root cause through precise assessment and guided movement. Her teaching and clinical work are grounded in compassion, clarity, and long-term results, rather than quick fixes.
She is a regular speaker at sports, physiotherapy, and corporate wellness forums, including FICCI yFLO, and was recognised with the Indian Achievers’ Award (2021) for Entrepreneurship in Health & Wellness & WOT (Women on Top) as Remarkable Women Achievers Award 2024. Committed to lifelong learning, she continues to train internationally and mentors movement professionals through both in-person and online platforms.
