Balanced Body® Educator | Founder – Flex Pilates
Chandanna Mannedi is a Balanced Body® Educator with over a decade of experience in Pilates, movement education, and working with diverse bodies — from rehabilitation and chronic pain to athletic performance and general wellbeing.
As the founder of Flex Pilates, Chandanna brings a unique, integrated perspective to Pilates education, combining movement science, functional anatomy, somatic awareness, and real-world teaching experience. Her teaching style is known to be clear, compassionate, and practical, helping students not only learn the repertoire but truly understand why and how to teach it safely and effectively.
Having worked closely with physiotherapists, fitness trainers, and movement professionals, Chandanna is deeply committed to developing confident, thoughtful, and ethical Pilates teachers who can adapt the method to different bodies, abilities, and goals.

Movement Principles (16 Hours)
Movement Principles is the essential starting point and a prerequisite for both Mat and Reformer training.
This course bridges anatomy with movement observation and application, helping you understand how the body functions as an integrated whole.
Key Focus Areas:
You will learn how to recognise quality movement, cue effectively, and adapt exercises from rehabilitation to performance-based environments.
Mat 1 – Beginning to Intermediate (16 Hours)
Foundational Pilates principles, core anatomy, beginner and intermediate exercises, class programming, and safe teaching guidelines.
Mat 2 – Intermediate to Advanced (16 Hours)
Advanced repertoire, progressions, and sports-specific applications for experienced clients.
Mat 3 – Enhanced Mat & Props (16 Hours)
Creative and functional mat work using props such as rings, rollers, bands, and balls, along with the Balanced Body® Programming System.
Mat Certification Pathway:
Total Hours: 134
Includes coursework, observation, personal practice, student teaching, and final Balanced Body® assessment.
Reformer 1 – Foundations (16 Hours)
Introduction to Reformer setup, safety, biomechanics, alignment, and beginner programming.
Reformer 2 – Intermediate (16 Hours)
Expanded repertoire, modifications, and multi-level teaching strategies.
Reformer 3 – Advanced & Sports-Specific (16 Hours)
Advanced exercises, athletic conditioning, and training the high-performance client.
Reformer Certification Pathway:
Total Hours: 214 (excluding anatomy)
Includes coursework, observation, teaching hours, and final Balanced Body® assessment.
